We would like to bring to your attention a few events that are happening in your area over the coming month.
The Hunter Track Classic is coming back this year and will be held on Saturday, 31 January. As part of the Classic the Fastest Kid Competition and the Hunter Track Classic Coaching Clinic will be held. There is also an Introduction to Coaching Course scheduled for Sunday, 8 February.
The details are as follows:
Fastest Kid Competition
Date: Saturday, 31 January 2015
Location: Hunter Sports Centre, Stockland Drive, Glendale
Heat Time: 5:00pm - 6:00pm
Categories: U/8 70m, U/12 100m, U/16 100m | Girls and boys run separately | Age on the day (ages 5-15 which means 5-7 are U/8, 8-11 are U12 and so on).
Final Time: 7:00pm at Glendale in the main Hunter Track Classic Program.
Progression to final: Top 8 in each category based on heat time.
Entry fee: $10

Hunter Track Classic Coaching Clinic
Date: Sunday, 1 February 2015 (8.30am—12.30pm)
Venue: Hunter Sports Centre, Stockland Drive, Glendale
Age Groups: The coaching clinic is open to all athletes in the U/9 to U/17 age groups in the 2014/2015 Little Athletics season. (DOB range 1 Oct 1997 - 30 Sept 2006)
Cost: Junior Clinic—$45, Senior Clinic—$50, JETS (Junior Encouragement & Talent Squad) members pay $40

Introduction to Coaching Course (ITC)

The committee, parents and athletes of the Wyong Athletics Centre Inc would like to welcome you to our family club. Wyong Athletics is committed to ensuring all our athletes enjoy their time with us.

LITTLE ATHLETICS AND WARNERVALE OVAL ARE SMOKE FREE ZONES
Please refrain from smoking whilst Competition Night is on.
Throughout the season, other clubs hold Gala Days/Carnivals. Any interested families are invited to attend. If the Centre receives an invitation, they will be posted in our general information tab and on the Information Board located at the shed. Quite often, a number of our families will attend these events. Individuals send in their own entry forms.

WET WEATHER INFORMATION
In the event of wet weather the Centre endeavours to conduct training and competition as normal, but if Wyong Shire Council should close Warnervale Athletic Field then we are forced to abandon training or competition while the closure is in place. In the case of wet weather contact should first be made with Wyong Shire Council by text WSCWARN to 19BBSMS(19922767) and receive a return message with the current status of the ground.
